Main Responsibilities Of PSS Provider
The PSS Provider will play an essential role in improving mental health wellbeing. Key duties include:
Provide individual and group psychosocial support sessions
Support mothers and caregivers of malnourished children
Conduct awareness sessions on psychological wellbeing
Work with trauma survivors including GBV and conflict-affected individuals
Promote resilience, coping mechanisms, and self-sufficiency
Ensure confidentiality and safety of all beneficiaries
Refer severe cases to specialized services
Collect and document beneficiary data accurately
Coordinate with supervisors and health facility teams
Prepare regular reports and maintain documentation
Participate in trainings, supervision sessions, and capacity-building activities
Reporting And Documentation Duties
Prepare weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports
Ensure confidentiality of beneficiary information
Maintain organized records and secure data storage
Share activity updates with supervisors
Highlight challenges, risks, and necessary solutions

Job Requirements for Acbar Jobs In Kunar Today – PU AMI Jobs In Kunar 2026 Apply Online
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Primary or Higher Health Program certificate/diploma in Nursing, Midwifery, or relevant field
6 months to 1 year experience in psychosocial support or therapy
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or MoPH-certified counseling diploma (an asset)
Knowledge of local culture, language, and community context
Fluency in Pashto and Dari preferred
Ability to travel within project sites
Commitment to humanitarian values
Ability to work professionally in team environments
