The client, Country Office Afghanistan based in Kabul, is seeking support services for the operation and maintenance of its fleet trucks and workshops to ensure effective implementation of current and future projects across Afghanistan.

The client owns and operates a large fleet consisting of over 200 heavy cargo trucks, machinery, water tankers, mobile workshops, and light vehicles. Service providers must be capable of deploying qualified personnel, including drivers, mechanics, and other required manpower categories, to any location where operational needs exist.

The Unarmed Guard will contribute to maintaining a secure environment at WFP premises by supporting access control, patrol activities, and compliance with established security procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide unarmed security services to WFP staff, assets, and premises

• Conduct routine security patrols and report any incidents or breaches to the Security Officer

• Control access to WFP facilities and ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed entry

• Carry out security checks on staff, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises

• Support staff during emergencies or security-related situations

• Maintain accurate security logs, patrol records, and incident reports

• Ensure full compliance with WFP security policies and procedures

• Participate in security training, briefings, and warehouse unloading and reconstitution exercises to meet established standards
